The Sustainable Commitment promotes the awareness and participation of companies, businesses, organizations and people who want to contribute to the ecological and social improvement of the city. The Commitment establishes three main objectives; one pedagogical, one ecological and the other social.

The main objective is to make people, companies, businesses and organizations aware that less waste has to be generated and those that have to be managed through selective collection. DLand has found a formula to find synergies between all of them and that collectively can also favor schools and primary school students in the city. The tool to do it is the DLand® Workshops, a tool tested and approved by all who have participated.

These workshops have a cost, but can be soonzed by trademarks, municipalities and other entities, for example the ImaginCity that takes place in Girona, with the sponsorship of the College of Architects of Catalonia and with the participation of Educational Centers in the city. In other cases, it is the companies and shops for whom we make custom buildings with your logo. These buildings serve to subsidize the workshops, but also so that each participating student can take them as a gift and thus transmit the sustainability action they have learned. For the business that does it, it is a very good and effective Corporate Social Impact, not forgetting that there will be buildings with their logo in many houses of the population.

We speak of commitment because we know that raising people’s awareness cannot be done with specific action, but must be done continuously in order to integrate it into our routine. The same thing happens with throwing containers in the corresponding container, it is an action that to be effective there is time and perseverance. That is why ours is not a promotional action that became popular on a specific day, but on an ongoing basis. Commitment that has already been carried out in other cities and countries of the EU.

  • Consider the residue as a resource.
  • Carry out information and awareness campaigns.
  • Improve waste management, prioritizing in this order; reduction, recovery, reuse and recycling, above energy recovery.
  • Apply the criterion of proximity and responsibility in the treatment of waste.

We have the methodology to promote the well-being of people in the 3rd sector, our products are made by people at risk of social exclusion and the fabric with which they are made is made from recovered PET bottles.
